My name is Heather Randall. Welcome to my on-line writing portfolio. On this blog you can expect to get a pretty accurate sample of my writing style. You can also learn what and who has influenced my writing. Expect novel excerpts, poems, book reviews and home school product reviews. Sometimes I’ll even post a super personal journal entry that will really let you see inside my head.
In 2008-2009 I served as a member of The Old Schoolhouse Home-school Crew. The TOS Crew began as a group of 100 moms chosen by TOS to use and review homeschooling products. It was a great experience for me and I benefited as I learned marketing, copy, and the steps to writing a quality review. I am blessed to see some of my reviews quoted by companies in their marketing.
Since the end of my year on the crew I have pursued other blog review opportunities. Check out my review history to see all that I’ve been up to. I also continue to receive homeschool products from The Old Schoolhouse Magazine. You can see these reviews here.
I am now in the publication process for my first novel in the Christian Women’s Fiction category. The publication process has been an amazing roller-coaster of emotional highs and lows. I can’t wait to finally see it in print. I know God has a plan and a purpose for this book and I’m very proud of it. Ultimately, I want God to fuel and use my abilities to grow His kingdom.
I love Chick Lit. I love Christian Women’s Fiction. I even dabble in Children’s literature and Illustration (natural to do with four kids). These are the things I read and the things I write.
